Hey guys!  You have inspired me to take up the Monet challenge. I have been a member for quite a time but have never entered an Online Workshop. I just like to look at YOUR work. This is all so new to me but since I have put it off for so long - I will start later today and see what happens. I promise that within 7 days I will upload my first attempt - warts and all.

Wow Lisa, your colors remind me so much of a Turner!!!   All you need is come correcting on your linear perspective, and you've got it made!!!

Nice painting Lisa! I can't quite put my finger on it..I'm feeling paintings of the renaissance. Your sky is lovely and the limited background colors make your gondola all the more lively. I struggle with loosening up as well..it's all in letting the details go!
