11x14. Oil on board. When I sketched I told myself I will avoid three things 1. the tall tree in the middle. 2. the two mountains meet in the middle. 3. the two rocks duplicated. After finished I just realized that all three things I want to avoid all happened and worst the top tree exactly on the between two mountains.

Very nicely painted Laura - Your art has come a long way since being on TCA. Congratulations, so well done :)
Espectacular pintura !!!
THANK YOU so much Lori, Ann, Glenys, Silke, Jon, Charles, Kudakwashe for your such encouraging comments!
Lori, that is true when I was child learning bicycle. If I saw something not to hit it then I will directly ride to it.
Charles, certainly I am not going to move either tree or mountain now after all the wonderful comments.
Awesome!!!
If the tree won't move, move the mountain. :) Your rocks rock. Good use of color and value in your trees. Well done. BTW, I was studying artists this weekend and specifically, Percy Gray, a San Francisco painter who did magnificent landscapes. Your paintings have a Percy Gray quality to them.
Really nice, Laura - I like the 'feel' of it, boy!
Hi Laura,
I like your painting. The colors are beautiful and the brushstrokes bold and energetical. I sometimes owner, too, who moved the elements in the false place when I am finished :-)
