your work is always exceptionally good Ann - I too can see a bit of Cèzanne in this painting - Lovely !!
I admire your hard work and appreciate your explaining what hues you have used. Thank you Ann......Smiles :-)
The brushwork reminds me of Cézanne
The brushstrokes are nice, Ann, but I'm wondering about the composition... ?
Thanks , Ann for your time to write all these. Your colours are really very beautiful. What brand you are using?
Thank you Ningning, Laura, and Michael ! I can count on you my friends for positive feed back and encouragement.Ningning Chinese yellow is a Sennlier oil paint. It is intense transparent orange that is more golden yellow than most yellows. It can get out of control easily but just a little makes some fun a interesting colors. If you mix Ch O with a touch of Ult blue and Titanium Buff you get lovely soft greens. The dark orangie small roof at the back of the painting is straight Ch O and the bottom of the clouds have been glazed with it. Prusian Blue and Ch O mix together to make interesting greys and browns. The dress and flowers are Ch O mixed with aliz and white. It is a fun color to play with but can make a mess easily if your not careful. Try it
Oh how wonderful. I love that little girl picking flowers. Lovely colors.
