BTW Jane, with this particular composition that you have chosen, the cove has now become the subject ..not the boat........nothing wrong with that, just thought I would point it out to everyone how one can change the subject of a painting by how one chooses to compose it.

I tried to increase the contrast - it is interesting to see ..becouse the photo looks little blured (i hope you dont mind)

It is nothing to comment really, it is a great study of colour. I was scared of this format when I saw it first, but now I quiet like it seeing how well you've managed it. It is really pleasant and calm.
