Plein air 11' by 14" oil on textured panel. Windy day at Fort Baker, Marin side at foot of bridge. Painted with Laura Xu and my Saturday plein air group. I was able to partly block the wind with my SUV and painted under the tailgate, hanging on to my paint box at times. Laura was shivering with blue lips but a good painting. Stu

Thanks Linda. My plein air painting is coming along as I accumulate more "brush miles". Stu
Very nice Stu as always!
Thanks Lori; it was a lot of fun. Stu
Hi Stu, I did posted mine too. But it is not finished version. It needs a lot works still. I will continue to work on it and re-post it once it is done. Thank you for your nice words about me :)). I should thank you and Ann get me out of door painting. I enjoy it very much!
Thanks Cristina and Silvana. No, Silvana, I was more sheltered by my car than Laura. I have a small SUV and was able to stand under the open hatch back with my car facing into the wind and I was parked on some grass. She was parked on the dirt and has a hatchback, so she really got the full force of the wind. I haven't seen her posted picture yet, but she was halfway through a second painting as I was finishing this painting. This is the third time I have painted with her now. Her plein air work is very good and she seems to really enjoy outdoor painting. Happy Easter to both you and Cristina. Stu.
This is great! Happy Easter Stu!
How lucky you are to be able to paint together! Great! Enjoy! Is your painting also textured with dust?
