Stu, Looks like you had lots of fun with this one. Loose strokes and more color yum !

Thanks Michael.  This was kind of fun with more looseness and color than usual for me.  I'll give it try on some small canvases with a more vibrant and wet underpainting.  Here is my underpainting for this one with Gamblin Fastmatte alkyd paints--that took a little over an hour from pastel pencil sketch to complete block in.  This was all dry in 24 hours and the painting I sent you before was the next layer which took about 1 1/2 hours.   These final tweaks took about 1/2 hour and were mainly glazes, scumbles, highlights with minimal value adjustments.  I am also including my cropped photo reference that I got from a screen shot of Richard's video.   Stu

Nice job Stu!  I see that you changed some of your yellow greens into a more earthy green ..excellent!  I also see that you put more color into your background trees ...and you warmed up the sand....nice job.
