Thank you Suzy Yes I can understand your lack of intrest as I thought oh no another south island scene and I live in the north island I also found the left hand foreground very callenging however once into it I did enjoy as it lends itself to great lighting I am going to attempt another one zoomed in closer to the mountains so I can ditch some of that foreground I look forward to seeing your work. it is realy inspiring as you say to see how others interpret the scene.

I do really like the way you've captured the glimmer of the water in this painting while adding a very nice hint of color. I've been struggling with my lack of interest in this picture. Thank you for the inspiration.

Well here we go. These workshops are so great! You no longer have to think "what will I paint next BUT now you just have to think Mmmm HOW will I paint it:)
