At 17:55 on January 7, 2012, Michael L. Brown said…: The pastel of me that I use was not done by me. It was done by my friend, Dr. Chouieb Saidi, a professor at the Art Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. I wish I could say it was my work but it is not. I do not do pastels and only work in oil. Saidi did a great job! He has a Masters of Design from the University of Tunisia and a Master Degree and a PHD Visual Arts from the Sorbonne University and did portraits in Paris for 12 years so he has done thousands of portraits. He works really fast; the portrait only took him about 20 minutes.
