Acrylic on canvas 18 x 24
This is me being more realistic. I'm a little frazzled trying to get the rocks in focus without giving them too much attention.

Thanks Chris! And...thanks for the friend request...you are my first friend here! :)
You'd think someone who's spent most her life as a travel professional would remember the time change...LOL. But, then, I do paint into the wee hours sometimes. Maybe as technology gets better and better, there will one day be an "all nighter" live paint session. :) Or, if I'm lucky, I'll find a ticket to NZ and get to attend a real paint session.
Thanks Stuart for the info...and I enjoy your paintings as well! Maybe I can catch the next seminar after the tree one is over. I'm actually a ceramic major with no kiln. So, I took up watercolors and pastels, then tried acrylics and enjoy the challenges of them all. I stayed away from oils because I worried about the solvents giving me headaches. Thank goodness for these new oils...I love them! The blending aspect is blowing me away. I think I'm addicted! ;)
Thanks Richard. As far as I can tell, everybody here is a potential winner because your instruction is exceptional. :) I just bought my first oil paints, and finally have time to tackle the lessons in your master class. Already I know more than I did last week! Have you ever held a “live” painting lesson via web/ video conferencing?
