Watercolour with Fair Head in the background - we regularly sail out into Ballycastle Bay where I get great reference pics. Earlier this evening we were on our way back from Rathlin Island when we spotted a basking shark!

Thank you Yelena!
You also have a lovely light touch with your watercolours and I love the clean crisp way you use all the transparent colours. To me, this is what makes watercolour so exciting!

Hi Summer,
Thank you. I agree, watercolour can be a frustrating medium, BUT, it is certainly the most exciting! My advice would be that you keep at it... practice really does make a big difference in this case. Don't expect to produce good work, just keep painting and suddenly one day you will find that you actually have produced something good. Even now with many years experience, I can still produce a 'dud' which ends up in the bin! Take care & happy painting!
Edith.
