This is still life painting I did some time ago. It came to my mind with Richard´s broken color in ´Southern Light.
I set my candles on a yellow cloth and used my lighting to enable me to see variation of light. I have to say that I was quite pleased with it. It makes a big difference to paint from a photo or real life.
