11x14 acrylic. The brush I used was a #10 flat hog hair bristle and a pallet knife instead of a credit card.

I don't think I'll join this one. Maybe next one.
Thank you Larry. Are you joining us for the Workshop? Im still trying to use this credit card to make the boats....arrrg just want to get a small brush and painted in... but im not. Well. will be posting soon.
Burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, and a little cad yellow light along with titanium white.
Thank you Larry, what color are you using for the coast line?
You are correct Montalvo, the red beach looks odd on the web site. In fact, all of the colors look washed out (except for red). On the easel it looks better. I may try another one from a different angle.
Robertson im learning and im no expert but what caught my attention is the red sand. It takes me away from the rest of the scene.. What would happened if you toned it down some to bring it all together. Im just learning about color so maybe someone can answer that question for me?? Than you for posting, other than that i agree with Larry in regards to the depth. I haven't mastered the pallet knife, and i'm getting ready to use the credit card.
You have very good depth in this painting Larry!
