Hi, Elena, maybe it is easy for you. Not every exercise has to be difficult :-) Or maybe you just are more experienced than I was when I did it.

Thanks, Silke. I'll try again on bigger format. It was the same exercise. May be I found it easy because I did it in a small size.

Hi Elena, I do not know if the exercise in the book is the same as in the wrkbook I bought additionally. I do not find it difficult to flip from vase to faces. There was an execise in the workbook where the left side of the vase was drwn and the student had to draw the right side exactly mirrored. It was not so easy to get the right angles and curves there and it was even harder not to think of a silhouette of a face and of nose and lips etc :-) I drew in some horizontal lines where the curves turned. Then it worked well.

Hi Elena, I did, but I am not through :-) I did the exercises up to drawing room I think. I did not use it the whole summer, have to go on now ;-)

Following to the recommendation of Richard I started reading the book. I try to do the first exercise (by reading, in small "notan" format by a pen). I did not fell any mental crunch of the vase/face exercise. It was easy to do. Have anyone else done this?

Beautiful  as usual......it was lovely to meet you and Vladimir  again in Spain.  Nice experience.
