Oil on mdf board.20x25 cm. Decided to change the model a bit... felt more at ease with the sea..., though it's not so easy for me to invent, I went for it, and I'm not unhappy with the result!!!!

Beautifully done, Silvana!
excellent !!!!!!!!!!
I love this Silvana!!! Many good comments, so no sense in me adding anything. :))
Lori,I actually love to see those black coming storms at the sea.. where Igo, stormscome generally from teouth, and the sun is still shining in the west...so it is very common and beautiful to see those contrasts!
Thanks Ann!!! Thanks Chris for your input too! Do the values have to be lighter to give the painting more depth?
I like your concept of placing the shed by the sea. It definitely raised the real estate value. Put it on the California coast a sell it for a couple million or so ! LOL I think you could fix the problem of dark value on the left by placing some of those shadows( like your path) on the beach from the grass edge and darkening the shore water that could be in the shadowed area of the water with the far water remaining in the sun to take us back into the painting. Landscapes can have a major and minor focus point if it moves the viewer around.
Thx Lori! I really appreciate your input! At first, I thought of making a stormy sea scene... to maintain the darks at the back, but I really didn't know how to deal with the water... dark at the back too? And lighter when closer?
