Daylight picture. The blue at the top left is not that intense in the real one.... and the ochre spots don not stand out so much....

Thanks Michael and Lori for the tips on how to get that canvas unwrinkled.... I suppose I'll have to wait until it's dry now.... I'll sure be expecting your critique Michael!!! :)))

Thank you Cristina!!! I sent her a pic when it was half painted. She liked it. I hope she still does when she received it! But that may take months.... oils dry very slowly here.

Hi Silvana .. when that happens to me, I will spray water on the back with a spray bottle. I have never done that after I have already painted on it, though. .. so, yes .. do some research. I will comment on your beautiful painting when I get to my computer ... easier typing.

Ditto to have those brushes in hand Silvana! Love the composition & background. Something about the purple on that first one is bothering me- maybe add some of the blue toward its center to 'connect' it to the next flower a bit more, and lighten its edges a tiny bit toward the light?...not sure how to fix the canvas. I think I've seen a video somewhere about wetting the back, but before you try anything google search or look on you tube. You're bound to find your answer!
