Wow great work Dirk. There is certainly RR influence in this study!! You are a star pupil. Not that your work wasn't vert pleasing before but the change in each brush stroke having a purpose is very evident here. Love it.

This has a lot going for it.  I just don't care for the red in the sky, but thats only me.  I like the warm grasses in the foreground.  Good job.

I'm not sure about this Dirk but I think Richard has made a few comments along the way about trees on the edge of the canvas. Maybe that's because the eye is taken out of the picture plane. If you are working on this it's the tree on the right may need to be brought back off the edge a bit.

Wow Dirk! I sure love this. Your greys set off the small touches of saturated contrasting colors. Loose expressive brush work. Nicely done. My only wish would be to see a little more care to the trees in the foreground, they are abstract but just barely read as trees.
