Oil on stretched canvas, 20x20cm, my first small "Van Gogh" :-), I have lost my way a bit, especially in the sky. Will do a second version. But great fun :-)

You know Silke, I really like this one, there is a bit more atmospheric perspective than the second one where the sky is beautiful but a bit heavier. They are both gorgeous.

Hi Silke , I like your straw bales , perhaps a bit of the blue and red from the sky could be added to the foreground to take the edge off the purple , just a thought. Jon's advice about doing more than one painting sounds wise.
