Thanks Li.  The figure and foreground rocks need to be a little warmer and lighter in value; I haven't fixed them yet, but I liked the figure too, because it made the compostion more interesting and tells a story.   Stu

I like this one. Among other good espects, that sihouette figure dreak the dullness of the value design and makes it more impressed.  Very nice job.

I agree that warming the edges of the figure is good.  And the foreground sandy area!  If you want to break up the horizontal a bit more (although not needed because the figure does that well) than you could make the beach come in on a diagonal instead.  My opinion!  :)

Michael, I'll give the figure and foreground warmup a try. Thanks, Stu

I do not see cloned shapes in this painting, just warm up the figure and foreground.  Everything else is beautiful!!

Per Michael's observation, cloned left hand horizontal cloud shapes and waves are a problem.   More vertical and less horizontal movement to guide the eye into the painting is needed.   Stu

one of my favorites so far... nice cools and warms... following instructions well.

Everything that I mentioned to you earlier, applies to this painting also.  This is only true if we (the observer) is on the same level  as the figure ... everything is related to YOUR eye level.
