Oils, 11x14", From my photo taken fall 2016 in the Gila National Forest, NM. I have explored landscapes for over a year, and attempted to learn from others "how they did them", but a lose style never felt comfortable to me. I am a realist. I hope as I explore landscapes more and more in "my style" I will improve to a level I want for myself. Hope you enjoy my efforts. I really enjoyed the rocks under the water a lot.

Hi Roena, you did a very beautiful job here! What I recently learned about style is, that it developed out of what subjects you chose to paint, what you as an artist want to say about it and how you want to say it. It is not about this or that brushstroke. The personal style will develope over time. Think, you found yours :-)
