thanks Silvana!! I am finding it to be a great compliment to the workshops here. I'm going at a snails pace..it's taken me a year to get through the first group of lessons!! The good news is that the lessons remain available, you can print the material..go at your own pace. I think it's well worth the investment- especially because I've never had any formal art training- I'm learning a lot of the basics I need to know to get better.

SUPERB!!!!LOve it! I wonder how come I've missed it!!!! Little by little you re all convincing me to start VAA... your posts are all so excellent... but I'm quite sure I'll be slower than a snail.... if pinting a small painting a month is a great effort now....I can't imagine adding sth else onmy TO DO list... and I don't want it to be a pressure!!!!

Thanks Ramya. I thought about changing the color scheme but don't yet gave the confidence or know how! In this case it worked out for the best!

Thanks everyone for the wonderful encouragement !!
Susan I'm finding the group on VAA very supportive- true you go at your own pace (and mine has been a snails pace!!) but there are lively, thought provoking discussions and critiques.

Lol-- Michael you may have misread my smiley face :D for lesson D!! I'm just starting on B!!
