This painting was done for my final summary project on VAA - FINALLY finished with the first set of lessons:D
I learned a lot about using notan and value studies to develop a painting.

Lori, really lovely with a dramatic punch!  VAA is the Virtual Art Academy? I have all the books I printed out from that when it first started; but, back then you were pretty much on your own and it was overwhelming. Is the new format good? Do you get a lot of input from other members?
