Can't get the camera to pick up the values/colour properly, but this gives the approximate idea. Glazing it will be a challenge!

Thanks a lot Stu - the composition was pretty much in place from the photo with a few small changes (melodic lines thanks to JV workshops!)  And I tried to apply what Richard showed in his workshop with the warmer colours & values - it was really a good lesson.

Outstanding grisaille.  Nice warm and cool interplay and wonderful composition.   The camera always lies about both color and value in a low lighting scene like this.  You have done a great job of interpreting the photo.   Stu
