Oh Jon, I just noticed that nice bit of complimentary red and green ..just the right amount to balance the yellow/violet color scheme!! ......Jon, you really thought this puppy out ..didn't you?

Okay Jon, this is pretty doggone good!!!!   I love your handling of the warm interior tones with the bits of cool on the desk top stuff!!  I also love the way the composition does not look contrived!! ...I like the way you have kept the clock in a supportive mode. I also love how you have stepped the light from left to right ..to end in an explosion of light with the lamp.   A great painting Jon.

This is charming, Jon - so much to look at & the lampshade is a nice focal point too.  Great atmosphere! Just one small thing - perhaps change the colour of the base of the lampshade under the rounded upper part (the 3 pronged triangular shape) because it looks transparent & is a bit confusing.
