hey stu..great job - i love your figures in the foreground and your waves are scrumptious!! looks like we've both been MIA for a while - i'm hoping to get back at it - just got in under the wire with this one...like you, i've been painting but just didn't quite get organized enough to do the workshop.  i miss chatting with you!!

Hi Stu. Well, I think you did a great job of interpreting this assignment. You really captured the churning waves, and I love the figures on the beach. Another terrific Stu painting!

Thanks Annie and Casey. Annie, I just took a couple of months off but kept painting. Casey, I liked the Notan from the photo reference with these figures best and decided to resist painting the obvious cliff and wave and tried this instead. Stu
