Beautiful!
Yours is a lovely painting. Those grapes are painted beautifully............smiles to you dor:))
You are right, Xiao Li. Even a small achievement need big effort. I like your fresh purple colour and happy grapes. I also like the way you show the viewer how the colour of the grapes influnce your white jug. It is beautiful. You also put your purple into your table and make it a nice looking grey. Your pear is a little bit week color maybe because it is far away. Well done, Xiao Li.
Thank you Annie for lilking my painting. Looking back I can see places that can be improved. I also did a second one but it was rushed and need some retouch, which I haven't get time to do so yet. Enjoy the chalenge.
Hi Li I love your painting I think the colours are beautiful and the pear is quite realistic better than mine I am going to rework them good job
I agree with Diane about your colours well done - this piece has a nice light hearted feel to it.
Thank you Diane for the encouragement. I think you are right about the size of the pear. It does look a little too small compared with the large grapes.
Great grapes rite to the wrinkly one at the top Like the jug and all the colours felt the pear could have been maybe a little larger for balance. nice job
This assignment was fun. I bought the jug at a salvation army for 2 bucks. That was easy. Then I bought the seedless graps. However, they were so small. I have to put around 30 of them to fill the jug. That was too many graps to paint. I had to try three markets to found these big graps. I went home and only to find the pears I spent 15 minutes to pick were not in the shopping bag. I have to go back to the market and to spent another 15 minute to find the perfect one. By that time half day was gone, but I was very happy with the result.
