So, I thought I would see if you have an opinion or experience with my issue. I damaged the canvas of a finished painting while framing, a 1/2 inch cut in the canvas. I secured a canvas patch to the back with acid free glue and touched up the front with paint. The repair is invisible from the front. What are the ethical issues in entering this piece in a juried show or selling it?

with a short walk to the centre. Quite inspirational really, although i haven't painted any houses yet. You will have to come back for some more hydra! I'm almost ready to post the finished portrait it has changed a little, hopefully for the better. I'm no slave to using the correct brushes etc in fact i'm using a wonderful soft flat watercolour brush at the moment and its doing a great job (i think)
