"Taranaki" 14.5x25" Oil on Canvas by Richard Robinson (Studio Painting).

A commissioned piece for a wedding. Lots of fun. Again with the washes of Water Mixable Oils to start with and then layering on the thick paint, most with walnut oil as the medium.

Yes it's standard walnut oil.

Help... I am starting to use water mixable/soluble oils and I really like them. But I'm confused about one thing: Now that Richard Has switched to water mixable oils, is the walnut oil he uses on his demos the standard kind or is it specially formulated as a water mixable medium? Can't seem to find an answer online and I don't want to make a big mistake.
Thanks! Bonnie-Leigh

Fantastic!..... Richard, have you used Lucas Medium 7? I've just bought a jar. It is supposed to make oil paint water soluble...

:-) Yep, that's the one, except I grabbed it off a free wallpaper site (without the castle). It's for family.
