Reflective Self Portrait

Oil on Canvas. 14 x 10. My first serious oil painting after taking my paints out of storage. It's been 33 years since I last painted in oils. This was finished three weeks ago. It has totally inspired me to go on.

Love the composition, the accuracy of value and colour, the flat patterned areas and the brushwork. Looks like you've used a dark red-brown underpaintiing which economically shows through to define shapes? Love it.
