Oil on Canvas. 14 x 10. My first serious oil painting after taking my paints out of storage. It's been 33 years since I last painted in oils. This was finished three weeks ago. It has totally inspired me to go on.

That is a seriously good portrait!  Your hand has not lost its cunning.  Love the composition, the accuracy of value and colour, the flat patterned areas and the brushwork.  Looks like you've used a dark red-brown underpaintiing which economically shows through to define shapes? Love it.
