Hi Sylvana!  How about a transparent glaze in a light blue to bring your orange doubt down?  Perhaps, in order not to spoil your work, you might try the effect with loose brushstrokes here and there..  Check on RICHARD's YOUTUBE video on ATMOSPHERIC LIGHT...  Perhaps you could also add a few shiny strokes on the water in the foreground to give more the idea of distance... My humble view, please.... Your work is indeed FANTASTIC!

Thank you Joy and Linda. What I still don't like is that orangy brown in the mountain. It's definitely not that evident at all in the original, it's much more muted... but I can't get to take a pictureexactlyas I see it, so I suppose I'll have to change the painting.
