The dark foreground and rocks lead us into the painting very nicely. The tonal contrasts between your foreground and background is just breathtaking!!! I see you have a lot of nice warm and cool reflected light bouncing up into the trees and rocks ..excellent! Can't say enough about your edge work ..I mean .that soft edged background against those hard edged trees ...WOW!!! A good example of using the full gambit of the value scale!!! :)) Anna, frame this painting and keep it in your private collection ..
