11x14. Oil on board. When I sketched I told myself I will avoid three things 1. the tall tree in the middle. 2. the two mountains meet in the middle. 3. the two rocks duplicated. After finished I just realized that all three things I want to avoid all happened and worst the top tree exactly on the between two mountains.

this is wonderful Laura, loose, flowing and it works everywhere with great harmony of colour!
Laura, this is one of my favorites from this workshop. Your painting is enthusiastic with a bold dash here and a strong stroke there. It looks like you painted with confidence. As the song says, "don't worry be happy"
Thank you Sherry, Michael, Silvana for your great encouragement! The board I used for the painting is made by myself. It is very smooth. It absorb oil very quickly and left the pigment paste on the surface. It is hard to blending mading soft during painting time or muddy. It force me to put color down and leave it alone. I will have to wait to dry little bit if I have to do some fix. Sorry michael, this is my lesson :)
Super!
Beautiful Laura!! ....How about giving me some lessons on your wonderful brushwork!!!
Good work Laura, I love your brush strokes and your values, never mind the middle issues, it is almost impossible with this painting i think, maybe that was the challenge too, but it looks good.
