really nice, I like colors and this soft - hard edges. I would think it is easy, if I didn't try myself...

Hi Denise, this is my favourite of all your pears. It looks to me like you've pulled it all together here: design, colour, values, drawing, brushwork, edges, texture...all very nice!

This pear should be wearing a Blue Ribbon!  You are a teriffic artist.  I love the pear but the bock of wood it is sitting on is fabulous.  I love it.

Hello Stuart, I've not tackled the ten minute pears yet, these are taking me much much longer then ten minutes, that much I'll say! I am practicing though, the steps that Richard has shown us in the video and I'm mostly trying to study the color changes and examining and checking the color spots and their values on as many brush strokes as I put down. This requires some concentration and I'm afraid I find it hard to be that self-disciplined and I start to dabble away until I come back to myself.

Still life painting is where I've been concentrating with my limited time and learning for a last several years so I'm happy to be studying the basics again although I've been resistant to doing those ten minute pears.
