Thanks for the info Lori. Add the sun! Really nice work. Always put your signature at the bottom and never too close to the edges (frame will cover it). Try and make it not grab the viewers eye (large size, bright colors, high contrast are not good). Stu

Ha!! Maybe I'll add the sun Manneherrin! I like it too:) 
No Stu..this is from a photo..haven't gotten to do any plein air yet.  I DID do this alla prima though (well, I guess now that I'm going back in, it won't count as such!  I did much better this time with putting the paint on & letting it go..not quite where Ineed to be, but much better than before..musch less soup!

Thanks for the idea re scratching in the signature..I never do well with that...where to put it, not crazy for the way I sign --lol my last name has too many ups & downs!!
