Hi Lori, yes, just  make sure you "oil out" in that area before you go over it (if it is dry).  I usually take a sharp instrument and scratch my signature, but when I paint it in, I will use a "rigger" brush and very soupy oil.  Hope that  helps?

The spot is what drew me by the thumbnail. I really like it! really atmospheric and serene. Too bad it isnt the sun cause for me that would be the icing on the cake.

The bright spot is actually glare, not a painted sun!! I overworked the lower left..aggravating!!! I tried to add  my signature - that ALWAYS gives me a trouble!! I went over to remove the mess up & it resulted in a loss of some variation in the grasses  -  after it dries a bit, I may go back in and redo that area a bit..any advice on that?
