Hello, In the forum I think the only way to do that is to have a new category. I cannot make a new one, because generally the administrators are only allowed to make new ones. For now, the way it looks is I will only be able to show in the Mater class or Resources category.
I will look around to see if I can make the adjustment...
Hi Roena!
Thank you for you remarks, yes, it is very important to receive feedback and that (virtual) community is 'alive' and 'commenting' :)
I surfed all over youtube and mr. Robinson really is far the best in presenting painting, there is simply no enough content for something more ambitious then just beginners. I will for sure put some comments around photo section...

Sure Ro.....I love flowers. I have been a gardener all my life and studied Horticulture in college as well. I just can't seem to paint them very well! But I can make a stick bloom!
One of the inspirations that make my heart sing and the brush slide across the page is music! I smile and dance at the easel and my brush follows the moves. Great joy in creating.
Dear Roena How nice of you to send a welcome message; it was a very nice thought indeed. I am enjoying Richard Robinson's material and teaching and am about to start painting seriously for pleasure again following a break and disruptive period. I am getting a great deal of pleasure from much of the landscape from N.Z. We were there two years ago, fabulous! and we hope to return. If I get rid of the builders out of my property I can get back to my painting!! Regards to you ,Mal (U.K)
Thank you for all your kind words. Being an artist is sometimes so rewarding when we can share the joy of creating and then have someone feel the same things we feel.
Hi Ro. Yes, I am interested in pics of the blue heron if you have any more. I have taken some pics of them but never was able to get close enough to the bird to get what I wanted to paint. Thanks.
Hi Ro,thanks so much for your welcome.Just checked out your work and liked them. You certainly play close attention to detail.

Ro, You mentioned that you were learning to see values with colors. I understand how difficult that can be and what I use to help me is a red, plastic, transparent sheet to hold up and look thru. This red plastic is used, I believe, as report covers for school reports. I'm not sure what country you live in so it may be called something different. It helps to remove the colors and turns everything into values. I've made viewfinders with it also so that when I'm out in the field I can gauge values too. Give it a go and let me know what you think......I believe it would save you time and money on having pictures developed. Keep painting......Judy
Ro, I don't think oil paint gets old if it isn't dried out. I use many different brands. You name it, I probably have some. My main paint is from Triangle. They come in many sizes, but the size I buy is the size of a caulk gun, and then put them in guns and just squirt out what I need. Yes, I try to never let my watercolors dry.... always adding new paint and a touch of water to the well to keep them wet. I paint almost every single day, including weekends and most holidays!
Ro, I usually use paint right out of the tube consistency. I have turp on my brush but usually don't thin the paints. And I use a LOT of paint! For watercolor... what I say is there is three thickness..... water, milk and cream.... I use mostly cream! Love it.... really get the color on the paper and I love color.
Hi Roena,
I keep getting a rotation of paintings that you've done so I'm not sure which one you wanted a critique on. I have always welcomed critiques and am not offended by comments made to help me improve. I've been working on a painting to submit to our local Fall Watercolor show. Hopefully I'll get the picture posted on here. Have a great day!
Thank you for your welcome Roena. I am very happy to find this site and to be able to connect with other passionate artists. I love seeing your paintings. I plan on adding some of mine soon. Have a great day!
