oil on canvas panel 9" by 12", plein air. I painted this last week between storms but had to tweak it a little in the studio because I forgot to take along a flashlight or a headlamp and my car lights just were not good enough to work by.

Thanks Michael. You and I really know about getting the light in there because we don't always get it right at first! I had to do a little more touch up than usual because I ran out of light and had nothing but the interior lights on my car at the end to mix the last colors by. Next time you are down here, we will go out painting at this place because it has some incredible views. I just discovered it a couple of months ago. I am planning on coming up there sometime this winter to paint with you and I am all signed up for Franks Spring Sierra workshop in March. I bought a Strada mini yesterday and will paint with it today up in Novato if the weatherman's predictions hold up. Best to you and Cindy from me and my Cindy.
